Oil Changes

Why do I need to get my oil changed regularly?

Odometer

There a lot of factors that play a part in determining how often you should get the oil in your car changed. The oil in your car serves as a protective barrier for your car from dirt, rust, unburned fuel and other elements. Most people think that if they just drive to and from the store or around their city, they do not need to worry about getting an oil change as often as the cars that put a lot of miles on their car in a short period time. This is not necessarily true. In most instances, cars that have a higher average of non-freeway mileage are the cars that should get their oil changed every few months. At Master Muffler, we recommend you receive an oil change every 3,000 miles to insure the efficiency, safety and life of your vehicle.

Oil changes allow us to do a “spring cleaning” on your vehicle. Not only do we clean and take out and replace your old oil and oil filter but we take a look at some of the other key aspects of your vehicle.

Here is what we check on:

  • Wipers
  • Washer Fluid
  • Antifreeze
  • Battery
  • Battery Cable
  • Air Filter
  • Tires
  • Tire Pressure
  • Belts
  • Hoses
  • Brake Fluid
  • CV Joints
  • Exhaust System
